Programs and activities

In 2023, the Crossroads Market shifted away from the drive-thru distribution model to a by-appointment in-house shopping model. This model shift allowed for shoppers to return back to client-choice grocery shopping, instead of pre-packed boxes distributed in the drive-thru. During the first 6 months of 2023, through the in-house and curbside models, the Pantry distributed 720,533 pounds and served 7,645 households and 26,384 individuals.
Food Distribution Network: From our home in southern Dallas, we are uniquely poised to increase access to nutritious food even more southward to include the other counties in our service area - Ellis and Navarro. We do this through our distribution network which includes approximately 152 CDP's. In 2023, in collaboration with our partners, we distributed approximately 6.5 million pounds of food and served approximately 150,120 individuals (50,666 of whom were children).
