THE DALLAS STARS FOUNDATION 50/50 RAFFLE RAISES FUNDS FOR WORTHWHILE NORTH TEXAS CHARITIES WHILE GIVING YOU THE CHANCE TO WALK AWAY WITH A NIGHTLY CASH PRIZE! RAFFLE TICKETS ARE SOLD DURING EACH STARS HOME GAME AND A DRAWING IS HELD AT THE BEGINNING OF THE THIRD PERIOD TO SELECT THE LUCKY WINNER OF HALF OF THE TOTAL POT FOR THAT GAME. HALF OF THE MONEY RAISED FROM THE 50/50 RAFFLE GOES DIRECTLY TOWARDS THE FUNDING OF OUR COMMUNITY GRANTS PROGRAM.
ST. PHILIP'S LEGACY PROJECT - THE DALLAS STARS HOSTED THE NHL WINTER CLASSIC ON JANUARY 1, 2020. EVERY NHL CLUB THAT HAS HOSTED THE WINTER CLASSIC IS TASKED BY THE NHL WITH CREATING A LEGACY PROJECT AROUND THE EVENT. THIS PROJECT IS DESIGNED TO IMPACT THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES IN A MEANINGFUL AND LONG-LASTING WAY. ST. PHILIP'S SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY CENTER WAS SELECTED BECAUSE OF ITS HISTORY OF PROVIDING FIRST-CLASS EDUCATION AND PROGRAMMING TO THE CHILDREN OF SOUTH DALLAS SINCE THE LATE 1940S. THE DALLAS STARS FOUNDATION HAS PLEDGED $2 MILLION OVER FIVE YEARS TO ST. PHILIP'S. THE MONEY THE FO
