Here at Layla's Heart Ranch and Rescue we are a true no kill rescue, rehab, and sanctuary with a 100 percent savve rate. We are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. We are dedicated to saving the lives of at risk animals through rescue by rescue by providing shelter, medical care, training and rehabilitation until loving forever homes are found while also offering sanctuary for those in need of refuge.

THE ORGANIZATION IS DEDICATED TO PRESERVING AND PROMOTING THE HISTORY OF BASTROP AND BASTROP COUNTY, COLLECTING AND PRESERVING MATERIALS, ARTIFACTS AND DOCUMENTS RELATING TO THE HISTORY OF BASTROP, COUNTY, AND MAINTAINING MUSUEM BUILDING OPERATIONS AND DISPLAYS.

MHS, a non-profit 501.c3 organization, is a group of volunteers interested in the preservation of history and sense of community in the McDade area. The purpose of MHS is to gather, document, encourage, preserve, promote, and protect the cultural heritage of the McDade area.
