To meet the needs of senior citizens and the handicapped of our area with meals-on-wheels, daily meals a the senior citizens center, thrift store, transportation and activities.

THE CHARITABLE PURPOSE OF THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF BRAZORIA COUNTY (CFBC) IS TO BUILD PERMANENT FUNDS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY, TO RESPOND TO CHANGE NEEDS THROUGH EFFECTIVE GRANTMAKING AND TO ENCOURAGE PHILANTHROPY.

EMERGENCY SERVICES IN SPECIFIED AREA OF BRAZORIA COUNTY, TEXAS. CURRENTLY DISPATCHING THREE AMBULANCES WITH RELATED PERSONNEL. THE ORGANIZATION ANNUALLY PROVIDES CARE TO MORE THAN 1000 PATIENTS IN AN APPROXIMATE 450 SQUARE MILE AREA OF WESTERN BRAZORIA COUNTY.

OUR MISSION IS TO FEED BRAZORIA COUNTY'S HUNGRY THROUGH FOOD DISTRIBUTION, EDUCATION, COLLABORATION, AND ADVOCACY. BRAZOSPORT CARES CONTINUES TO LEAD THE FIGHT AGAINST HUNGER IN BRAZORIA COUNTY BY OPERATING A COMMUNITY-SUPPORTED FOOD PANTRY, WEEKEND BACKPACK PROGRAM AND SCHOOL FOOD PANTRY FOR LOCAL STUDENTS, HOME DELIVERY PROGRAM FOR HOME-BOUND SENIORS, AND EDUCATION INITIATIVES.

WE FULFILL OUR MISSION OF PROTECTING BIRDS AND THEIR HABITATS BY USING SOUND SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH, LAND PROTECTION AND ENHANCEMENT, COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH.

Our mission is to end Veteran homelessness in Texas and throughout America by providing shelter, transitional living, counseling, case management, job training and job placement.

THE MISSION OF JENNIS RESCUE RANCH IS TO TAKE ANIMALS THAT HAVE BEEN ABANDONED OR NEGLECTED, REHABILITATE THEM, AND FIND THEM LOVING FOREVER HOMES.

SUPPORT THROUGH THE PROCESS OF SECURING GRANTS,PROVIDING VOLUNTEERS, AND MATERIAL SUPPORT FOR THE TEXAS MID-COAST NATIONAL WILDLIFE COMPLEX OF THE U.S.FISH AND WILDLIFE SYSTEM

Supporting animal welfare and adopting out to homes

We envision a mentally healthy transformed community. Our purpose is to inspire hope, while advancing mental health and wellness through faith-based counseling, education and prevention services. Significant Activities: Evidence-based, trauma-informed psychotherapy services to children, youth, families and groups prevention programs for strengthening mental health and wellness. The board does oversee compensation.

The Matagorda Bay Foundation (MBF) is dedicated to stewardship of the Matagorda Bay ecosystem.

EMPOWER AND ENHANCE THE LIVES OF CHILDREN WITH SEVERE ILLNESSES THROUGH UNFORGETTABLE OUTDOOR EXPERIENCES.

1) To promote the safety, well-being, and health of horses. 2) To encourage education concerning the physical and mental health of horses. 3) To utilize horses in the growth and mental health of humans, either adult or children, through education, demonstration, and connection. 4) To study, promote, and enhance the proper training of horses through positive training techniques. 5) To provide a home for those horses who are no longer able to be productive. 6) To return to health, if possible, those owned horses that are deemed sick or injured.

PROVIDE SUPPORTING SERVICES FOR CHILDREN WITH CANCER, AND THE FAMILIES OF THOSE CHILDREN.

THE RESCUE, REHABILIATION AND PERMANENT PLACEMENT OF NEEDY PUGS IN HOUSTON TEXAS AND SURROUNDING AREAS.

TO PROVIDE QUALITY EQUINE THERAPY TO INDIVIDUALS IN OUR COMUNITY WITH SPECIAL NEEDS THROUGH DECISIVE PROGRAMS ADMINISTERED BY CERTIFIED INSTRUCTORS THAT FOSTER ADVANCED LEVELS OF COGNITIVE, SOCIAL BEHAVIORAL, AND EDUCATIONAL SKILLS WHILE FURTHER STRENGTHENING THE INDIVIDUAL'S INDEPENDENCE, SELF-ESTEEM, AND OVERALL WELL-BEING; TO ENHANCE AND TRANSFORM THE LIVES OF THE INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES WITH MENTAL AND PHYSICAL CHALLENGES WITHIN A LOVING, CHRISTIAN ATMOSPHERE USING THE HEALING POWER OF HORSES.
