2023 was a year of growth. We served 58 PD fighters and estimate that 85% attend classes three times per week for 50 weeks for a total of 7395 hours of fitness instruction. Yoga for PD was an active class for our PD fighters and caregivers with an average class attendance of 21 for a total of 3150 hours of yoga instruction. Our partnership with Texas A&M University continued with 65+ Kinesiology students interfacing with our PD fighters to complete their course curriculum. We continued to host a monthly support group and potluck dinner for those with PD. Guest speakers addressed topics such as nutrition physical activity and speech therapy. Our first community fundraising event Cow Art in the Park for Parkinsons was in April 2023. The mayor of College Station issued a proclamation recognizing the efforts of our non-profit to serve those living with Parkinsons disease in the Brazos Valley.
