The Big Bend Arts Council BBAC runs a cooperative art gallery displaying and selling art work from local artists on a commission basis. The gallery collects 20% commission on sales which covers rent maintenance utilities and show expenses. Artists are both members of the gallery and the council which allows them to show and sell their artwork in public shows. In addition the BBAC supports arts initiatives in our area provides funding for student scholarships and funding for art instruction as needed.
