The purpose of CCHA is to bring together those people who are interested in the culture and history of the Castro Colonies established in Medina Co TX during the time period of 1844 through 1847 to promote this unique heritage

The organizations purpose is to prevent cruelty to domestic animals by placement of animals that have been abandoned with loving families for adoption and education of school children on care and treatment of animals.

Provide emergency food for those in need.

To provide actionable, compassionate, healing services and referrals to people who are experiencing or have experienced sexually related trauma

To support the citizens of Castroville and the surrounding area by sponsoring special events

RESCUE AND REHABILITATE EQUINES. PROVIDE LONG TERM CARE FOR EQUINES NOT ABLE TO BE ADOPTED

Provide fire protection and rescue to the Devine, Texas area

TO PROVIDE CHILDREN AND FAMILIES WITH OPPORTUNITIES TO LEARN MORE ABOUT NATURE AND ITS ENVIRONMENT, TO IMPROVE SOCIAL SKILLS, TO DEVELOP LIFE-LONG LEISURE/FITNESS SKILLS AND TO GAIN AN APPRECIATION OF THE OUTDOORS IN A CAMP SETTING.

HOLD JUNIOR LIVESTOCK SHOW FOR THE CONVENIENCE, EDUCATION AND BENEFIT OF FFA AND 4-H CLUB MEMBERS.

THE ORGANIZATION'S PURPOSE IS THE RESCUE OF UNWANTED, ABADONED AND ABUSED DOBERMAN PINSCHERS, TRAINING AND CARE OF THE ANIMALS SO THAT THE DOGS CAN BE RELOCATED IN SUITABLE NEW HOMES.

To provide Honor Chair memorials to agencies or families of First Responders killed in the line of duty. These memorials are custom built, delivered and presented to the agencies at no cost to the agencies.

PETUNIA'S RESCUED FRIENDS IS A 501C3 NO-KILL ANIMAL RESCUE OPERATING OUT OF MULTIPLE FOSTER HOMES SERVING THE CITY OF CASTROVILLE, TEXAS AND SURROUNDING CITIES. ALL ANIMALS ARE RESCUED FROM VARIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES AND ARE IN OUR CARE UNTIL THEY ARE ADOPTED BY THEIR NEW FOREVER FAMILY WE ARE A DONATION BASED ORGANIZATION AND RELY HEAVILY ON COMMUNITY SUPPORT AND PRIVATE DONATIONS TO HELP US CONTINUE OUR MISSION OF "HELP US, HELP THEM..."
