PBBHC'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE HIGH-QUALITY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES THAT ARE ACCESSIBLE TO ALL RESIDENTS OF PERMIAN BASIN REGION OF WEST TEXAS AND SOUTHEASTERN NEW MEXICO.

Permian Basin Area Foundation facilitates the creation of permanent charitable funds in partnership with many donors, and provides grants to address community needs and enrich the quality of life in the Permian Basin.

THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE, RELIGIOUS, EDUCATIONAL, AND/OR SCIENTIFIC PURPOSES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE PROMOTION AND ADVANCEMENT OF AMATEUR ATHLETICS, TEAMWORK AND SPORTSMANSHIP OF CHILDREN AND ADULST BY PROVIDING EDUCATION, FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT TO FURTHER SUCH GOALS.

Campus and Community Foster Care & Adoption: High Sky recruits and trains caring individuals and couples to provide safe, stable homes for children ages 0 to 17 in the Permian Basin. Foster care and adoption services are designed to meet the individual needs of each child through personalized treatment plans, therapeutic support, educational assistance, and independent living preparation. All children attend public schools, engage in community activities, and receive the support they need to heal and thrive. Children in our on-campus program are typically ages 4 to 15 and often present with higher levels of need, while community-based homes provide a family environment throughout the region.Teen Home General Residential Operation (GRO): High Sky operates a therapeutic teen home for adolescent boys with higher levels of need who might otherwise be sent out of the region. BYNUM SCHOOL EXISTS TO PROVIDE PERSONALIZED EDUCATIONAL, BEHAVIORAL, AND VOCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR INDIVIDUALS OF ALL AGES WITH SPECIAL NEEDS.

THE MIDLAND CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FOUNDATION PROVIDES VISION AND LEADERSHIP TO STRENGTHEN AND ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOR BUSINESSES AND INDIVIDUALS IN THE COMMUNITY.

THE VILLAGE AT MANOR PARK SERVES APPROXIMATELY 500 RESIDENT MEMBERS ON THE 85-ACRE CAMPUS. THE ORGANIZATION IS LICENSED AS A CONTINUING CARE RETIREMENT COMMUNITY WITH A WIDE VARIETY OF RESIDENCES AND SERVICE PLANS FROM WHICH TO CHOOSE.THE VILLAGE AT MANOR PARK IS A CONTINUING CARE RETIREMENT COMMUNITY OFFERING SIX LEVELS OF LIVING ACCOMMODATIONS AND CARE. IN ADDITION TO COMFORTABLE HOUSING, OPTIONS AVAILABLE INCLUDE VARYING LEVELS OF ACCESSIBLE NURSING AND HEALTHCARE PROGRAMS. THE VILLAGE AT MANOR PARK PROVIDES SERVICES THAT WILL ENHANCE EVERYDAY LIFE IN THE RELAXED ATMOSPHERE OF A CONGENIAL COMMUNITY. The Haley Memorial Library and History Center is a privately managed Trust founded by J. Evetts Haley. It serves as an exceptional resource for scholars and researchers interested in the captivating history of the Great Southwest. The Library preserves and manages a remarkable collection of research materials, which have been extensively utilized by J. Evetts Haley and other eminent historians in their published works on the frontier development of the Southwestern United States. The Library’s extensive collections encompass a diverse range of primary source materials, such as interviews, documents, correspondence, maps, manuscripts, and photographs. These records provide valuable insights into the lives of the intrepid pioneers who settled the vast open ranges of the Southwestern United States in the aftermath of the Civil War. The historical significance of this region, spanning the western two-thirds of Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona, is unparalleled in the annals of American history. OUR AGENCY IMPROVES THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF INDIVIDUALS, CHILDREN, AND FAMILIES IN THE PERMIAN BASIN THROUGH THERAPEUTIC COUNSELING, PARENT EDUCATION, AND A SUPERVISED VISITATION AND EXCHANGE PROGRAM. WE ALSO PROVIDE POST-ADOPTION SERVICES IN 203 COUNTIES ACROSS TEXAS.

THE MISSION OF CASA OF WEST TEXAS IS TO RECRUIT, TRAIN AND SUPPORT COMMITTED VOLUNTEERS WHO ARE APPOINTED BY THE COURT TO ADVOCATE FOR THE BEST INTEREST OF CHILDREN IN THE FOSTER CARE SYSTEM.

THE MUSEUM OF THE SOUTHWEST WILL IMMERSE ITS VISITORS IN EXPERIENCES THAT WILL TRANSFORM THEIR UNIVERSE AND REVEAL NEW POSSIBILITIES. WE INSPIRE EXPLORATION AND INTERACTION WITH THE ARTS, SCIENCE, HISTORY, AND CULTURE.

BDCO Exists to provide a safe and secure housing option for Midland's Foster and Homeless Youth to stabilize and to find hope and healing.

THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES FOOD FOR SUCCESS THROUGH VARIOUS PROGRAMS INCLUDING A MOBILE FOOD PANTRY, A COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY, A BACKPACK PROGRAM, AND CRISIS ASSISTANCE THROUGH COMMUNITY PARTNERS. FOOD IS PROVIDED TO APPROXIMATELY 50 FAMILIES EACH MONTH THROUGH THE COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY AND APPROXIMATELY 1,370 STUDENTS DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR THROUGH THE BACKPACK PROGRAM. THE MOBILE FOOD PANTRY PROVIDED FOOD TO ABOUT 580 FAMILIES ON A MONTHLY BASIS IN EIGHT SURROUNDING COUNTIES. MINI FOOD BAGS ARE PROVIDED TO APPROXIMATELY 1,370 TEEN STUDENTS AT MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL CAMPUSES EACH MONTH THROUGH A PARTNERSHIP WITH COMMUNITIES IN SCHOOLS. THESE PROGRAMS PROVIDE FOOD TO IDENTIFIED UNDERPRIVELEGED FAMILIES. FOOD IS ALSO PROVIDED TO FAMILIES IN CRISIS SITUATIONS AS IDENTIFIED BY COMMUNITY PARTNERS. SCHOOL SUPPLIES WERE PROVIDED TO 1,200 STUDENTS IN 6 SCHOOL DISTRICTS ACROSS THE REGION. FOR CHRISTMAS 2023, THE ORGANIZATION ADOPTED CHILDREN FROM THE BACKPACK PROGRAM AND FROM FAMILIES HEL

TO PROVIDE SUPPLEMENTAL FUNDING TO EXPERIENCED, WELL-ESTABLISHED, EDUCATIONAL AND HEALTH CARE GROUPS AND AGENCIES IN AFRICA AND OTHER DEVELOPING REGIONS IN SUPPORT OF CHILDREN IN NEED, ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.

The Aphasia Center of West Texas provides support services to individuals and families whose lives have been impacted by aphasia. We offer a holistic, social model of service meant to help those we serve re-engage in life. Our model of service is the Life Participation Approach to Aphasia, recognized by the leading clinicians and researchers in the field of aphasia as best practice. Imagine knowing just what you want to say but being unable to get the words out. This is just some of the frustration people with aphasia feel. The Aphasia Center of WEST Texas was the second independent aphasia in the country to open our doors and we remain one of only two centers in the entire state of Texas. Our services are private pay only. We do not accept insurance or government funding. We are completely privately funded through foundation support and fundraising events. Our goal is for the person with aphasia to be in control rather than have an outside entity dictate the perimeters of care. Those
