WE MOBILIZE THESE COMMUNITY RESOURCES AND VOLUNTEERS TO MEET HUMAN SERVICE NEEDS. WE CONNECT PEOPLE TO SERVICES 24/7 THROUGH 2-1-1 TEXAS. THE UNITED WAY OF AMARILLO & CANYON IS AT THE FOREFRONT OF MAKING SYSTEMIC CHANGES IN THE AREAS OF EDUCATION, INCOME AND HEALTH, CREATING OPPORTUNITIES FOR A BETTER LIFE FOR ALL.

TO ADVANCE AND SUPPORT THE HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELFARE OF FIREFIGHTERS, FIRST RESPONDERS, EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE PROVIDERS, AND THEIR FAMILIES; AND PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR INDIVIDUALS AND COMMUNITIES THAT ARE IMPACTED BY FIRE OR DISASTERS, WHETHER CAUSED BY NATURE, HEALTH, OR INDIVIDUALS.

TO SERVE THE SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMUNITY, FAMILIES, AND K-9 MILITARY DOGS, AS WELL AS LAW ENFORCEMENT AND CONTRACT WORKING DOGS. WHEN POSSIBLE, THESE CANINES ARE PLACED IN FOREVER HOMES.

Mission Statement RQHA is an AQHA affiliate 501c3 that is supported by Volunteers whose purpose is to promote the preservation, development education, and advancement of the American Quarter Horse Breed while also building an open community providing a place for all breeds of horse and horse enthusiast to come and enjoy. RQHA events are affiliated with:

TO SAVE AND CHANGE LIVES OF HOMELESS DOGS AND CATS BY PROVIDING SHELTER, FOOD AND VETERINARY CARE UNTIL THEY CAN BE ADOPTED TO PERMANENT LOVE HOMES. ALL OF THE ANIMALS ARE VACCINATED, MICROCHIPPED AND NEUTERED PRIOR TO BEING ADOPTED.

THE MISSION OF ONE BITE AT A TIME MINISTRIES IS TO PROVIDE RESOURCES TO ENABLE THOSE BATTLING CANCER TO FIGHT WITH FAITH OVER FEAR. ONE BITE AT A TIME MINISTRIES WAS ESTABLISHED WITH THE DESIRE TO PROVIDE EMOTIONAL, SPIRITUAL, FINANCIAL AND HEALING SUPPORT FOR CANCER PATIENTS WHICH INCLUDES PEACE, HOPE, AND TRUST.

PROVIDE SUPPORTING SERVICES FOR CHILDREN WITH CANCER, AND THE FAMILIES OF THOSE CHILDREN.

Paws Pet Adoption adopts out/transfers pets to reduce the unwanted and stray animal population
